December 29th, 2004

Meredith's Web Site

We held our final benefit dinner for 2004, the proceeds went to the Meredith Nicolls Health Fund. Meredith as you heard was paralyzed from the Shoulders down after a freak mountain bike accident. We managed to send the fund $2,000.00, with cash donations and proceeds from the meal!

December 9, 2004

Island House Crab Cakes served in Washington DC at the Tree Lighting Celebration.
The Island House prepared and served over 1,000 famous Island House Crab Cakes at a reception in the Cacus Room of the Russell Senate Office Building, adjacent to the West Front Lawn of the U.S. Capitol following the five-o'clock December 9th official Lighting Ceremony.

November 18th, 2004
We held a benefit dinner for our neighbor
Larry Stevens, who as you know had a terminal Cancer; we donated 100 % of the proceeds to Larry's wife Peggy, which was $5,000.00. This included cash donations and the proceeds from the sale of the meal.

October 20th, 2004
We held our 8th Annual Wachapreague Fire Dept. Fundraiser dinner where we, the Island House donated 100 % of the proceeds to the wach. Vol. Fire Co. Managed to give them a check for $ 1,150.00.
